ARKTIK Education
Our Story: From Crisis to Calling
ARKTIK Initiative | ARKTIK Education was born not from theory, but from urgent, personal need and a parent’s unwavering love. In September 2023, our founder’s son—a 7th grader in Spring I.S.D.—was stabbed multiple times in the arm by an 8th-grade classmate. The reason, as relayed by police: the perpetrator was simply “bored.” This unimaginable violence, compounded by an administration that offered limited support and forced the family to pay out of pocket for daily transportation to a safer school, was a breaking point. Even appeals to district leadership and a U.S. Congressman were required just to secure a basic environment of safety and dignity.
For transparency, it is important to share that at the time, the Congressman was addressing a major Department of Education matter and referred us to the Texas Education Agency (TEA). Through TEA, we discovered the full scope of homeschooling options, the guidelines, and learned that the district’s tactics were not in alignment with state policy. This realization, combined with seeing that the school to which our child was transferred (Claughton Middle School) had a literacy rate of just 30%, made it clear that a new path was urgently needed for our family—and for others.
Initially, we sought to work within the system, developing curriculum to assist Spring I.S.D. But as the barriers persisted, we chose a new way forward. Partnering with OpenAI, Microsoft, Azure, Google Cloud Services, and GitHub, ARKTIK Education was born—an innovative, faith-rooted, and parent-empowering alternative.
Our Mission: Standing With Families, Restoring Foundations
At ARKTIK Initiative, we stand with conservative families who feel pressured to compromise their values, ideals, and religious freedoms. We recognize that the foundations of the traditional family are being rewritten—often without the consent of those who cherish faith, tradition, and parental authority.
We believe parents have the God-given right to direct their children’s education in alignment with their core beliefs. We reject the idea that children must be exposed to content or ideologies that contradict what is sacred in our homes and faiths. Our mission is to provide a safe, faith-affirming, and academically excellent alternative.
